The epidemiological part of Saturday shows an increase of 220 infections, of which 216 are in home quarantine, and four have entered health centers, two of which have had to do it in the Intensive Care Units, which house 18 people with Covid-19, reports the Ministry of Health. Active cases now rise to 2,055.
In relation to the boats arrived last Friday on the Murcian coast, a total of 11 people have tested positive for Covid-19 and, therefore, are in quarantine, as well as their contacts, that is, the people who have traveled with them in the boats.
The total number of positives that the PCR tests yielded yesterday was 259, and of that total 39 have already passed the disease, so they are considered statistically as “cured”, with which there are already 2,472 people cured in the Region of Murcia, while in home isolation there are 1,935 and in hospitals 120.
Of the 259 new cases, 75 correspond to the municipality of Lorca, 68 to Murcia, 23 to Cartagena, 14 to Alhama, 8 to Jumilla, 7 to Totana, 6 to Ceutí, 6 to Caravaca de la Cruz, 5 to Lorquí and 5 to Molina de Segura. The rest are distributed among various locations.
Negative PCR tests have been 2,324 and negative antibody tests reached the figure of 22.
