More than a thousand volunteers and police officers have been looking in vain for Eduard ‘Eddy’ Timmermans for a week. The seventy suddenly disappeared from his residential care center in Heverlee. The Missing Persons Cell speaks of “unseen searches”, but for the time being there is still no trace. “We continue to hope for a good ending. But we also have to be realistic, ”says his family.
