A 15-year-old victim had a chain accident with a total of six participants. The tragedy happened during the Supersport World Championship, which took place on Saturday at the Jerez track in Spain.
Dean Bertha Vinales, cousin of 2013 World Moto 3 champion Maverick Vinales, has died.

After falling on the runway, the 15-year-old pilot suffered a number of head and chest injuries as he was run over by several of the other participants.
The medical teams on the track reacted immediately, but failed to save the life of the young Vinales. Shortly afterwards, the organizers of the competition announced his death.
Dean Bertha Vinales made his Supersport 300 debut this season. He competed for the Vinales Racing Team family and rode a Yamaha YZF-R3 motorcycle.
