The autofocus of the Galaxy S20 will have done well drooling Samsung. Galaxy S20s with Exynos 990 processor received OTA system update to fix autofocus issues. The Galaxy S20 Ultra also did not go through. Due to the longer focal length of the main 108 MP sensor, the autofocus did not work properly, leaving the subject blurred at times.

As a solution, Samsung rolled out a “close zoom” mode, which helps the user to take the perfect shot. However, this system update cannot resolve the problem, since these autofocus malfunctions are directly related to the hardware specifics of the 108 MP sensor. However, on this Monday, June 29, it seems Samsung has learned the lesson, as the famous IceUniverse leaker claims on Twitter.
