A 10-year-old boy in Israel contracted Kovid-19 from his brother in August. It made the virus asymptomatic. The nightmare began two months later when the child developed a fever. He was admitted to hospital – barely walking. The tests showed that the boy had myocarditis, Bulgaria ON AIR reports.
“We were shocked, they told us he had to be moved to the intensive care unit. He panicked – he asked why there were so many doctors around him, what all this equipment was for. Fortunately we came across very good specialists. We were reassured that we were arrived on time. One day later, the outcome would have been different, “his mother Pnina told the news agency ynet.co.il.
The boy spends 5 days in the intensive care unit, the medics control his condition.
It turned out that although he had Kovid-19 without any symptoms, the child developed a multisystem inflammatory syndrome.
She advises other parents not to think like her that this is something that cannot happen to their children.
“My child looked perfectly healthy, but it turned out he wasn’t. Go, check. Take as much time as you need for research, but know that you did everything possible to take care of your child,” the mother urged.
