Following several complaints from the neighborhood to the police in recent weeks, the building manager ended up hiring a worker with difficult access. It was he who discovered the remains of the man lying dead on his bed. Also according to the daily, an investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of the death of the pensioner. If a gun was found near the body, the suicide thesis is not yet confirmed.

A first alert had however been given in 2013 by some inhabitants of the building who saw the letterbox of the individual, described as very discreet, filling up and worrying about no longer meeting him when he was going to do his races. But nothing had been done at the time, “we thought he had moved elsewhere or had to be hospitalized», Says one of her neighbors in The Parisian. Living alone and being the owner of his apartment, no one had finally made the step to go see him.
