A man (40) thought the children had “snake DNA” – killed them with a hand harpoon

A California man has confessed to killing his two young children with a hand harpoon in Mexico.

The man, who is said to be influenced by QAnon and Illuminati conspiracy theories, has told the FBI that he did it because the children had inherited “snake DNA” from his wife, and became monsters.

It reports New York Post.

They took him to Mexico

On August 7, Matthew Taylor Colman, 49, was reported missing by his wife after leaving their home in Santa Barbara with his ten-month-old daughter and 2-year-old son. He should not have brought a car seat for the infant.

According to court documents, Coleman allegedly took the children to Rosarito, Mexico, where he allegedly shot them with a hand harpoon.

Coleman is said to have been arrested by customs and border officials when he tried to enter the United States alone two days later.

Left the children in a ditch

The court documents also stated that the border police discovered what appeared to be blood on papers in Coleman’s car when he was about to cross the border.

Mexican police then found the bodies of the two children in a ditch.

When he was arrested, Coleman denied the right to a lawyer, and told police that he killed his children because he was afraid they would grow up to be monsters, since they had inherited “snake DNA” from their mother.

Coleman has been charged with killing U.S. citizens abroad, and was due to appear in court in Los Angeles on Wednesday this week.
