In the night from Thursday to Friday, an ATM attack was committed at an ATM in Enschede. Two suspects took off on a scooter, the Overijssel police reports. It is unknown whether they have stolen money.
The bombing took place just before 4.30 am at a shopping center on the Wesseler-Nering in Enschede-Zuid. The photos show that the damage is extensive. It appears to be an ATM from SNS Bank.
The police have cordoned off the area around the machine for investigation and the Explosives Disposal Service Defense (EOD) has been called in.
The police calls on people who have seen or are in possession of camera images to contact us on 0900-88 44.
