A Jacquie & Michel store in Paris targeted by an anti-pornography demonstration

PORNOGRAPHY – “Jacquie and Michel, pimp and criminal!” This is one of the slogans chanted by a dozen feminist activists from the Amazon collective, during a happening in front of the Parisian store of the pornography brand, in the 14th arrondissement, Saturday February 19.

On the images shot by the Parisian, a hooded plastic mannequin is dismembered and covered in fake blood, sex toys are trampled on. After an altercation with someone from the store, the iron curtain was lowered. The activists continued to hold up their signs that read “bald dude gets his dick shagged” and shouted slogans such as “consumer, your dick in a blender” or “drink my period”. They also stuck a “criminals” poster on the front of the store.

This action comes as the brand has been under investigation since July 2020 for “rape” and “pimping”. In addition, there are 12 people prosecuted as part of the investigation into French Bukkake, a porn site that offered extremely violent videos featuring young women often making their debut in the industry. Among them, the producer and owner of the site Pascal “OP”. Fifty victims have been identified.

Four activists in custody

On its Facebook page, the collective calls for “an immediate end to impunity for ALL criminals in the porn industry: producers, amateur and professional male actors, touts, technicians on set, as well as all consumers who eagerly seek these contents”.

“The revelations and the investigators have shown that they (Jacquie and Michel) are directly involved in the filming carried out by Pascal OP for French Bukkake, that they bought these things, that they have the same touts, the same actors, the same rapists… They are in the same delirium, they are in it”, denounces Anissia, member of the collective who participated in the happening.

“We tried to get the message across in a peaceful way”, also justifies Esther. “If you find our action violent, remember that in reality, it is happening on a human being. If you find it violent, ask yourself questions about what you are watching”, she points to the microphone of the Parisian.

Still according to the daily, four women were placed in police custody following this demonstration.
