A Doctor in Boston Experienced Severe Allergic Reaction After Injection of Moderna Vaccine

KOMPAS.com – A doctor in Boston, United States, reportedly developed severe allergies after receiving coronavirus vaccine production Modern on Thursday (24/12/2020).

The doctor was Hossein Sadrzadeh who is a Geriatric Oncologist at Boston Medical Center.

He admitted that he had a severe reaction immediately after being vaccinated.

Launch Reuters, Sadrzadeh said, he felt dizzy and his heart was racing.

What Sadrzadeh experienced was the first severe reaction that was said to be related to Moderna in the first week of launch vaccine it’s in the US.

Boston Medical Center spokesman, David Kibbe, Friday (25/12/2020), said Dr Sadrzadeh felt he was experiencing an allergic reaction and was allowed to use EpiPen himself.

He was taken to the ER, evaluated, treated, observed, and then sent home.

Dr Sadrzadeh has a history of severe shellfish allergy.

Ray Jordan, Spokesperson for Moderna, Thursday (24/12/2020), said that his party could not comment publicly on this.

Moderna will investigate the matter first.
