A child died while riding a bicycle in Lyaskovets – Criminal 18+

A serious road accident in Lyaskovets caused the death of a child on a bicycle, the press center of the Veliko Tarnovo Regional Police Directorate announced.

The incident occurred around 6:30 pm today.

According to unconfirmed information, the child is around 10 years old and was hit by a car while riding a bicycle.

The driver of the car was tested for alcohol use, but the sample came back negative. You are also expected to undergo a drug test.

“The incident did not happen on a pedestrian path,” Mariyana Hristova of the press center of the Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told BTA.
