This Tuesday, the Bobigny prosecutor’s office had also announced that a new suspect had been taken into police custody.
Two other minor injuries
The 54-year-old victim suffered burns to his face, scalp and neck but his life is not in danger. The perpetrator fled immediately after the assault on Saturday shortly after 7 p.m. The victim’s companion immediately rescued him, helped by the bus driver who extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher. Both were slightly injured.
The investigation for attempted voluntary homicide was entrusted to the judicial police of Seine-Saint-Denis.
