A BOLA – Matheus Índio involved in controversy on social networks (Vitória de Guimarães)

Matheus Índio, Brazilian midfielder for V. Guimarães, is involved in a controversy after having responded to a fan on social media, due to his expulsion in the game in Chaves, which the Guimarães won 1-0.

Commenting on the expulsion of the player, who was released on the field in the 85th minute and ended up being sent off for accumulating yellow cards, a fan wrote: «Horrible refereeing, but this childishness of Matheus…»

The midfielder reacted shortly afterwards, with a comment considered offensive (see photo below), immediately receiving even more criticism. Result: ended up deleting the comment.
