A 17-year-old man was shot in the abdomen near a school in Brooklyn on Friday at noon and is hospitalized, according to police reports.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of Abraham Lincoln High School in the area of Ocean Parkway Boulevard and Neptune Avenue.
Police have not confirmed whether the injured young man is a school student. Sources close to the investigation, however, pointed out that the victim appeared to be a student.
