According to the police, on the morning of May 17, the teenager left home in the village of Lipovy Skitok, Kiev region, having previously written that he intended to commit suicide.
Soon the police in Kiev received a message that a teenager had jumped from a bridge. It turned out to be a previously missing minor. He was taken to the hospital, he is in serious condition.
Editions “My Kyiv region” called the name of the teenager – Denis Rodikov. He is the son of Vladimir and Diana Rodikov, who died of coronavirus in March. In addition to Denis, 12 more children were left without parents.
The Rodikov family moved from the Donbass to the Kiev region in 2014 and at the same time set up a family-type orphanage. He was temporarily in the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district of the Kiev region. In 2017, the state helped the family buy a house in the village of Lipovy Skitok in Vasilkovsky District, where they have lived ever since.
