NEW YORK – A 14-year-old boy was the victim of an armed robbery when he was practically alone inside a laundromat in the Bronx, authorities said.
The New York City Police released surveillance video footage from the day of the incident. According to the report, the robbery would have occurred on February 20, at about 1:50 pm, when the 14-year-old minor was sitting inside the laundry. 4 Bros Laundromat, in 355 East 167 Street, when the two suspects approached him showing him a gun and demanding that he hand over their belongings.
At that time the victim turned in her Apple iPhone and AirPods valued at about $ 1,500. The suspected thieves fled the scene and no one was injured.
Both suspects are described as dark teas and about 16 to 20 years old. The couple wore black pants and sneakers.
