NEW YORK – A shooting in Brooklyn left one dead and one injured Thursday morning, police said.
The incident occurred around 8:52 am in front of 2315 Strauss Street, authorities said.
Police said a 46-year-old man was shot multiple times and was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The second victim, a 45-year-old man, was also shot and taken to Kings County Hospital Center; he is expected to survive.
Authorities were investigating the scene, where they revealed that they had found at least 17 shells of bullets.
No details have been released on the cause of the armed conflict.
An investigation is underway.
