A man with over 300,000 euros in a bag was detained on the way to Tvarditsa

The action of the police in Burgas, in which a young man with over 300,000 euros in himself was detained, continues, sources from the Regional Police Directorate told “24 Chasa”. More arrests are expected.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the man was arrested in a car on the road between Burgas and Tvarditsa by officers of the Criminal Police, the Fourth Regional Police and the specialized detachment of the directorate. A bag with over 300,000 euros was found in the car.

“The work on the case is not over yet, we will comment only after we have a complete picture,” the director of the Burgas Interior Ministry, Senior Commissioner Kaloyan Kaloyanov, told our reporter.

According to unofficial data, the detainee has no criminal record and was most likely used as a mule by certain individuals. In addition to the money, customs documents were found in his possession.

The procedural-investigative actions continue, said the ODMVR Burgas and refused more information.
