Out of 1,250 tests carried out, 90 came back positive for the coronavirus, i.e. a positivity rate of 7.20%. These are 50 contact cases followed and 40 cases resulting from community transmission distributed as follows: Kédougou (7), Bignona (3), Kaolack (3), Ziguinchor (3), Guédiawaye (2), Ouakam (2) , Dakar Plateau (2), Popenguine (2), Saint-Louis (2), Thiès (2), Fann Résidence (1), Keur Massar (1), Liberté 5 (1), Louga (1), Maristes (1 ), Mbao (1), Médina (1), Nord Foire (1), Ouagou Niayes (1), Pikine (1), Richard-Toll (1) and Tivaouane (1).
117 patients tested negative and declared cured.
44 serious cases are taken care of in the intensive care units.
2 new deaths linked to Covid-19, recorded.
To date, Senegal has 13,384 positive cases including 9,091 cured, 279 deaths and 4,013 still under treatment.
