60 percent of coronary heart disease suffer from side effects

A Norwegian study with more than 2,600 people shows startling findings regarding long-term effects after covid-19 infection, reports TV 2. The University of Bergen, together with the University Hospital and American researchers, is conducting the study.

– When we saw patients after six months, we saw that over 60 percent had long-term problems. We saw that many people between the ages of 16 and 30 had difficulty concentrating, breathing problems and memory loss, says Professor Rebecca Cox at the University of Bergen to the channel.

The study from Bergen shows that most women struggle with the late effects.

– It only reinforces what we have said all along that covid-19 is not like a regular flu, as in fact some still say. It must be added that here a significant number have late effects, says head of department and professor at the Department of Emergency Medicine Dag Jacobsen at Oslo University Hospital.
