JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Ministry of Public Works and People’s Housing (PUPR) together with business entities Highway ( lodging) ensure completion of construction six toll new in the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area.
Currently the six toll roads have entered the final stages of development to be operated immediately and are ready to be inaugurated in November and December 2020.
The six toll roads are Highway Cimanggis-Cibitung Section 1A (Cimanggis-Jatikarya), Toll Cinere-Serpong Section 1 (SS Serpong-SS Pamulang), and Bogor Ring Road Section 3A (Simpang Yasmin-Cinnamon).
Then the Cengkareng-Kunciran Toll Road, Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road Section 1 (Cibitung-Gabus Indah), and Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu Toll Road Section 1 (Connection Toll to Toll Wiyoto Wiyono + On Ramp Pasar Gembrong) and Section 2A (Jaka Sampurna-Kayuringin ).
PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said that the presence of toll roads connected to productive areas can reduce logistics costs and increase Indonesia’s competitiveness in attracting investment.

The Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road Section 1A (Cimanggis-Jatikarya) was designed for 3.17 kilometers with a construction pogres of up to 99 percent and improvements have been made after the Proper Function Test (ULF).

The Yasmin-Kayu Manis intersection section is part of the BORR Toll Road managed by PT Marga Sarana Jabar with a total length of 11.45 kilometers.
The Bogor Ring Road toll road is divided into 3 sections, namely Section I Sentul Selatan-Kedung Halang which was operated in 2009, Section IIA Kedung Halang-Kedung Badak was inaugurated in 2014, and Section IIB Kedung Badak-Simpang Yasmin was inaugurated in 2018 with a total of 8.45 kilometers.
Then continued with Section IIIA of the 3 kilometer Yasmin-Cinnamon Junction.
The 14.19 kilometer Cengkareng-Kunciran Toll Road is ready to be inaugurated on the 4th week of December 2020.
The Cengkareng-Kunciran toll road is managed by PT Jasamarga Kunciran Cengkareng (JKC) which is divided into 4 sections.
Section I (Kunciran-Tirtayasa) is 2.04 kilometers long, Section II (Tirtayasa-Benteng Betawi) is 3.52 kilometers long.
Then Section III (Benteng Betawi-H Sastranegara) along 6.57 kilometers, and finally Section IV (H Sastranegara-SS Benda) along 2.06 kilometers.
BORR Toll Road Section 3A Yasmin-Semplak Intersection.-This toll road will be connected to the Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road, which has been operating and inaugurated by President Jokowi since last December 2019.
It is hoped that the Cengkareng-Kunciran Toll Road will become an alternative toll access to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and the surrounding area.
Furthermore, Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Section 1 (Cibitung-Gabus Indah) is 13.52 kilometers long which will connect the industrial area in Cikarang with Tanjung Priok Port.
After Section 1 Cibitung-Gabus Indah is completed, the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll section that will follow completion is Section 2 Gabus Indah-Muara Bakti (6.05 kilometers) whose progress has now reached 92.45 percent.
Section 3 of Muara Bakti-East Flood Canal (10.64 kilometers) has progressed to 84.57 percent, and Section 4 of the East-Cilincing Flood Canal (4.56 kilometers) has already reached 47.42 percent.
This toll road section will provide support for the movement of people (commuters) and logistics, especially towards the Cibitung and Cilincing industrial areas.
Work on the Becakayu toll girder at JORR-The last toll road that is ready to be inaugurated in 2020 is the Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu Toll Section 1 (Wiyoto Wiyono Toll to Toll Connection + On Ramp Pasar Gembrong) and Section 2A (Jaka Sampurna-Kayuringin) along 5.17 kilometers.
This toll road has been worked on in stages since 2015 and is ready to be inaugurated in December 2020.
The support of the six road networks is to smoothen traffic / reduce travel time, as well as to provide support for increasing economic growth in Metroplolitan Jakarta.
