5000 men came to Dresden: Bikers are now demonstrating in Leipzig too!

A notification will lead to restrictions between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the following route: Parking lot of the Paunsdorf Center via Schongauer Straße, Permoser Straße, Adenauerallee, Brandenburger Straße, Willy-Brandt-Platz, Tröndlinring, Goerdelerring, Dittrichring, Martin-Luther-Ring, Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz and Roßplatz to Augustusplatz.

600 motorcycles are expected for the demo, which is organized by the Round Table Leipzig and Region.

However, it should be said that 1000 bikers were expected in Dresden last weekend to demonstrate against possible driving bans. Ultimately, around 5000 participants came (TAG24 reported).

The background to the demonstrations is a move by the federal states to reduce the noise caused by motorcycles.

The noise emissions should be limited to a value that roughly corresponds to that of a lawn mower.

In addition, restricted motorcycle driving bans on Sundays and public holidays are to be made possible.
