Strong earthquake took place on Saturday afternoon (13/4), at northern Evia
According to the analysis of the Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake had a magnitude of 2 4.2 Richter and had an epicenter 2 kilometers east of Vasiliki Istiaia. The focal depth is estimated at 10 kilometers.
No injuries or property damage have been reported so far from the earthquake.
It is noted that the seismic sequence in the area is particularly intense after the 4.5 Richter earthquake in the morning of the same day, with seismologists, however, being reassuring about the phenomenon.
