According to the social authorities, 336 new corona cases were registered on Saturday. That is 126 cases more than on Saturday a week ago. There were 400 new cases yesterday, Friday.
According to the authorities, a total of 57,002 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 50,800 of these can now be regarded as recovered.
Incidence value at 115.3
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days is now 115.3 – and thus over 100 for the fourth day in a row. Exactly one week ago this value was 85.5.
241 corona patients in the hospitals
241 corona patients are treated in Hamburg’s hospitals. 90 of them in an intensive care unit. According to the RKI, 1,343 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. That is one more person than last reported.
