There are many advantages to having your Apple Watch connected to your iPhone. Among them, such as accessing some feature on your iPhone to work on your Apple Watch.

To connect the user must ensure a match between the Apple Watch and iPhone. Here’s a complete list of things to watch out for as reported on the official support.apple page:
– Apple Watch with watch OS 5 paired with iPhone 5s or later with iOS 12
– Apple Watch with watch OS 6.2 paired with iPhone iPhone 6s or later with iOS 13
– Apple Watch with watch OS 7 paired with iPhone iPhone 6s or later with iOS 14
– Apple Watch with watch OS 8 paired with iPhone iPhone 6s or later with iOS 15 or later
1. Connect Apple Whatch to Iphone
If it is matched then the user just connects the Apple Watch to the iPhone in the following way:
– Install Apple Watch app on iPhone via App Store
– Then, turn on Apple Watch by pressing and holding the side button until you see the Apple logo
– Hold iPhone close to Apple Watch, wait for the Apple Watch pairing screen to appear on iPhone, then click Continue.
– Or open the Apple Watch app on iPhone, then click Install New Apple Watch.
– Click Set for Myself.
– The user will be asked to position the iPhone so that the Apple Watch will appear in the viewfinder in the Apple Watch app.
– Click Set Up Apple Watch, then follow the instructions on iPhone and Apple Watch to complete setup.
