Melodifestivalen 2021 – 1st semifinals: These contributions are one round further

The first semi-final of this year’s Melodifestival is over and so we have both the first two qualifiers for the grand finale and the first two qualifiers for the Andra Chansen round. Danny Saucedo (lead photo), who made it to the final in every one of his Mello appearances, is no exception this time and has bought the final ticket. We have compiled all the results from tonight for you here.

The following qualified for the final:

Danny Saucedo – Dandi Dansa

The heirs – Do not intend to go home at all

As already written above, Danny basically has a subscription to the Melodifestivalen finals. Arvingarna also regularly march through: In 1993 the band won the Melodifestivalen and took part in the ESC for Sweden; In 2019 the band was able to move into the finals with “I Do” via Andra Chansen.

In Andra Chansen 2021 the following acts can prove themselves a second time and still hope to participate in the final:

Paul Rey – The Missing Piece

Little Sister – Pretender

Unfortunately, the following acts were eliminated from the competition:

Jessica Andersson – Horizon

Kadiatou – One Touch

Nathalie Brydolf – Fingerprints

Today’s semifinals can here in the media library be looked up. You can read our live blog about the show here. All information about the Melodifestivalen 2021 can be found here. You can find the articles that have already been published here in our Spotify Melodifestivalen playlist. We also talked in detail about the Melodifestivalen in our ESC compact LIVE.

The next semi-final will be on Saturday at 8 p.m. In this show we will see, among others, the former Mello favorites Anton Ewald and Dotter, but also the former German preliminary contestant Patrick Jean. Of course, we also offer a live blog for this program here on ESC Kompakt. Stay tuned!

What do you think of the result of today’s show and who is your favorite so far?
