Cologne –
The 2020/21 season is a special one, and that also applies to the DFB Cup. The first round matches of 1. FC Düren against FC Bayern (0: 3) and 1. FC Schweinfurt against Schalke 04 (1: 4) only took place late in October and November.
Due to the corona pandemic, the draw was held in the ARD studio in Cologne – without an audience. Alexander Bommes (44) moderated the show, ex-national player Inka Grings (42) was the lottery ticket, DFB Vice President Peter Frymuth (63) was the draw manager.
