After several years of falling prices, buyers spent significantly more money on their TVs on average in 2020 – 598 euros, 4.5 percent more than in 2019.

According to the Hemix, the trend towards larger picture diagonals and higher resolutions continued in 2020: 43 percent of the TV sets sold now have diagonals of more than 55 inches (140 cm).
