16-year-old arrested after theft and subsequent attempted assault / arrest and demonstration

A 16-year-old, who is currently without a permanent address, was brought before a magistrate on Wednesday (January 12) following a theft. According to initial findings, the young homeless person is said to have been up to mischief on Heppenheimer Strasse around 1 p.m., visited a construction container there and stole money, a knife and clothing. As he walked away from the scene of the crime, he was noticed by witnesses who approached the suspect. The 16-year-old is said to have immediately vehemently defended himself and attempted to bite his counterpart in the hand. He then continued his escape on foot. With the help of the personal description and thanks to the direct notification of the police, the officers arrested the fugitive as part of the immediately initiated search. He was taken to the police station and spent the night in custody. Since there was not only an urgent suspicion of theft and attempted bodily harm, but also other acts, including several acts of computer fraud, several thefts and a burglary, an arrest warrant was issued against the accused.
