16 people have been diagnosed with infection in Orkland – facing a major outbreak

– We are facing a major outbreak, the municipality writes on its websites.

The municipality first reported 15 infected, but this increased on Wednesday afternoon to 16, reports NRK.

250 people have so far been quarantined in Orkland. One of the new infected was already in quarantine.

– With the exception of this one case, there is a connection between the 14 other new cases, the municipality states.

So far, almost 150 people have been diagnosed with infection in Orkland since March last year.
