A 15-year-old woman was sexually harassed at Bremen Central Station on Sunday afternoon.
A 26-year-old German man first touched the girl by the back neckline. The girl called her age and rejected the man, but he wouldn’t let go of her and instead grabbed her again – this time on the hip.
Two passers-by came to the girl’s aid and federal police officers arrested the man at the scene of the crime. After brief care by the officials and information from the legal guardians, the girl was able to continue her journey home unmolested.
The man, who was already known to the police, was under the influence of 1.9 per thousand alcohol. A criminal investigation into sexual harassment was initiated against him.
