In Suriname, the 11th person died on Saturday from the consequences of the dreaded coronavirus. This is evident from the counter of the official COVID-19 website. According to Surinamese media, this 11th person died on the Intensive Care Unit of the St. Vincentius Hospital in Paramaribo.
The counter data further shows that it total number of people tested positive has passed 400 and so far amounts to 409. Of these, 191 have already been cured and 11 have unfortunately died. What remains is a number of 207 active cases.
It can further be concluded from the data that the number of people in quarantine has risen to 314.
UPDATE: Today the counter has been adjusted for the second time. Earlier in the day, there was an increase of 18 active cases. In the evening another 24 were added and the number of active cases is 231:
