The municipality of Bergen op Zoom carried out checks at three storage companies on Monday. These are so-called ‘self-storage boxes’, which are mini-storage spaces in a large building that are rented out separately from each other.
With the inspection, the municipality wants to tackle possible storage of, for example, drugs and fireworks. In the end, the police found a large amount of bottles of possible counterfeit perfume in one box. These have been seized by the police.
The checks took place at ALLSAFE, 1Box and Eurobox.
