1. Suicide bomb

Reported by Reuters, the suicide bomb exploded outside Kabul Airport, Thursday (26/8) local time. The explosion occurred near the Abbey Gate entrance to the airport. After the bomb exploded, many men, women and children were injured in the explosion awaiting treatment outside the hospital.

2. Conducted ISIS-K

The suicide bomber was the ISIS Khorasan or ISIS-K group. ISIS propaganda news agency Amaq said the suicide bombers “were able to penetrate the security fort and were 5 meters away” from US troops. Bomber instantly detonated the belt he was wearing.
