45127 E-Stadtkern / 45309 E-Schonnebeck: The fraud commissioner uses three pictures from a surveillance camera to search for an unknown man who is suspected of having withdrawn cash with a stolen money card. An 85-year-old senior at Borbeck Police Station stated that her entire wallet was stolen downtown on Monday, September 30th. When she noticed the loss, she contacted the bank’s blocked number and found out that cash had already been withdrawn with the bank card at the Schonnebecker Markt. The bank’s security cameras recorded the alleged thief and money withdrawn during the crime. Since the police investigation has not yet led to the identification of the suspect, three photos are now being published on the orders of the Essen District Court. The investigators hope that the pictures will be published by the public. Who knows the man pictured or knows where he is? Information can be sent to the Criminal Investigation Commissioner 13 on the central telephone number 0201 / 829-0. (ChWi)
