A traffic accident involving two vehicles involved was reported to the control center of the Mülheim an der Ruhr fire department at 00.02 on Sunday, December 22, 2019. Since, according to the first information, a trapped person had to be assumed, the control center dispatched the rescue train, as well as rescue and management personnel to the deployment site. When the emergency services arrived, the police had already released the person from the vehicle and was in a stable side position. The person was immediately taken care of by the emergency services and transported to a Duisburg hospital with the assistance of the emergency doctor. Another person involved in the accident was able to remain at the scene of the accident after an emergency medical examination. The fire brigade’s measures were limited to securing the site, ensuring fire protection and absorbing leaking operating materials. After 60 minutes, the police station could be handed over to the accident department. The Uhlenhorstweg was closed in both directions for the entire duration of the mission. (TTü)
