MEDAN, KOMPAS.TV – Zuraida Hanum was convicted of a planned murder case against her husband sentenced to death.
Meanwhile, two of his colleagues who became executors, Jefri Pratama was sentenced to life imprisonment and Reza Fahlevi was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The reading of the verdict which took place on Wednesday (1/7/2020) this afternoon at the Medan District Court was read by a panel of judges chaired by Erintuah Damanik.

“Causing the death of Zuraida Hanum with the death penalty,” said a judge led by Erintuah Damani.
In this online trial, defendant Zuraida Hanum was found guilty of plotting the murder of her own husband, the late Jamaluddin, a judge in the Medan State Court.
Zuraida Hanum in carrying out this planned murder was assisted by two of his colleagues who were executors of the murder.

On the verdict of Legal Counsel Zuraida Hanum, Ancient Onan declared the death sentence against his client unfair. According to him, Hanum deserves some relief because she still has one child who should have the love of her parents.
Defendant Zuraida Hanum previously planned the murder of her husband in their bedroom.
This planned murder was carried out jointly with two of his colleagues who were tasked with smothering his victim to death.
