The president Vladimir Zelensky criticized the ex-head of military intelligence Vasily Burbu and the operation to detain the mercenaries of PMC Wagner. This was stated by the head of state at a press conference.

“It was an operation called Burba. Thank God, it’s already over,” he said.
Zelensky says that he asked Burba only one question about the operation of PMC Wagner – will the president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan know about plans to land a Turkish Airlines plane with militants on board in Kiev, is it possible for mercenaries to seize the aircraft and kill people.
“I said: I think this is not our operation. It is ill-conceived in detail. I am ready to accept any special operation, even this one, if things are calculated in detail – and people will not suffer,” the president said.
Zelenskiy said that Erdogan, who is helping Ukraine a lot, would never forgive such a special operation.

When he (Burba, – ed.) realized that his ideas were slammed and split by Russia, he decided to leak this information. And we perfectly understand through whom he leaked it to the Ukrainian media, “Zelensky added.
Zelensky said that the situation with wagnergate was happy in Russia – and he was ashamed of this episode in the life of intelligence, prominent intelligence officers of Ukraine. “I am ashamed, I say that we were weak in this operation,” he added. Zelensky also claims that Burba made repairs in a house in Koncha-Zaspa for UAH 11 million, and also had a “business” – he obtained this or that information for a fee. “That kind of intelligence chief didn’t suit me,” he said.
In addition, Zelensky claims that a year and a half ago, Burba came to him and said that he had received operational information “with the covid formula and the vaccine formula.”
