Young PSV had to pause in the Kitchen Champion Division. The promises from Eindhoven went down hard at De Dijk and had to take five hits against FC Volendam.
FC Volendam-Jong PSV 5-1
Before halftime there was no goal and there was not much going on for the guests from Eindhoven. However, Franco Antonucci broke open the game early in the second half and then there was no stopping it for Young PSV. Boy Deul signed for the 2-0 and the 3-0, the other goals were provided by an international group. The Italian Samuele Mulattieri made the fourth of the evening, the Norwegian Mathias Kjölö did something in return on behalf of Young PSV, the Greek Giannis Iatroudis took care of the final chord: 5-1.

Excelsior-MVV 2-0
Excelsior had not won four games in a row and had not yet taken a point at home. However, the Kralingers played off all frustrations against MVV. The guests from Maastricht made it 0-0, but were surprised in the second half by a free kick from Julian Baas. The Icelandic Kitchen Champion Division top scorer Elías Ómarsson decided not long afterwards: 2-0.
Young Ajax-Young AZ 3-2
Young Ajax had a false start at De Toekomst. After just seven minutes, things went wrong in the build-up between Devyne Rensch and Aléx Mendez. Peer Koopmeiners was able to intercept and placed the ball in the corner: 0-1. The answer came after fifteen minutes, when Enric Llansana hit the head from a free kick by Méndez. Not much later, the people of Amsterdam called the problems on themselves. Victor Jensen kicked in the direction of Kenzo Goudmijn and got a red card.

Young AZ then increased the pressure and hit the bar via Koopmeiners. The home team barely got out, but one well-placed counter immediately meant Brian Brobbey’s 2-1. The striker, who still has not renewed his contract, finished after a long ball behind the Alkmaar defense. And five minutes after the break, Brobbey struck again: he himself decorated a penalty and took the opportunity: 3-1.
With one man more, AZ’s promises had to chase. Richonell Margaret hit from close range, but miraculously, no more goals were scored in the last half hour, partly because Tijmen Wildeboer hit the post.
