Young man arrested for beating middle-aged woman to death in drunken argument

Bijumon hit Bhargavi with a spade following a drunken argument in the early morning. As they used to get into drunken fights, no one came to hear the commotion. Bhargavi has injuries and bruises all over her body in the beating. After the incident, Biju reached the station and reported the murder to the police. Biju’s mother used to live with them but was at a relative’s house yesterday.

Both of them have been living together in Biju’s house for two years. They are not legally married. The police say that both of them were drinking together last night. The police team led by Pala DySP AJ Thomas and Eratupetta SHO Babu Sabastian took evidence with the accused. After the murder, the accused walked 8 km and reached Eratupetta station, after reporting the information, the police reached the spot and conducted an investigation.
