Relatives and friends of a young father residing in the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud took to social networks to report his death, pointing out that he drowned while underwater fishing.
According to this information, the deceased was identified as Joaquín Carmona Vázquez, father of a little girl.
His brother, Ernesto Carmona, indicated in a Facebook post that the young fisherman lost his life over the weekend while trying to catch a giant grouper. According to him, the fish had dragged him towards an eye of water from which he could not return. go out.
“My brother lost his life looking for sustenance to feed his daughter. A giant grouper dragged him into a body of water without anyone being able to help him,” said Carmona, who lives in the United States.

Likewise, the hurt Internet user wished that a local fisherman would take charge of fishing for the grouper that, in his opinion, was responsible for drowning his brother, as this was his personal way of finding a little peace.
“May my brother’s death not go unpunished (…) I wish that one day one of you captures that Guasa (giant grouper) that took my brother’s life,” he wrote in the comments, pointing out that the animal still has a rod stuck in the body, and which must remain near the waterhole where the young father drowned.
