Pertamina stated that the exchange has started gradually and naturally. This means that the 12 kg LPG gas cylinder in the community has run out, so when exchanged, the community will get a Bright Gas cylinder, adjusted to the Bright Gas stock in the field.

“It is done naturally. There is no obligation, but in fact, in LPG agents, pink cylinders have been reproduced,” said President of Corporate Communications of PT Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, to Liputan6.com, some time ago.

Fajriyah said, basically the tubes LPG 12 kg in blue with Bright Gas pink has the same tube contents. The price remains the same.

“What consumers need, right, is the contents (gas cylinders), yes,” he said.

In line with Fajriyah, Pertamina MOR III Communication Relations & CSR Unit Manager Eko Kristiawan explained, the replacement did not mean that the 12 kg LPG cylinder was blue so automatically it did not apply.

“Not a product recall, but a replacement tube. It doesn’t mean that the blue tube automatically no longer applies,” he said when contacted Liputan6.com.

Eko also emphasized that the replacement of the canister was carried out by Pertamina without any additional costs. “The price for refills remains the same LPG the blue tube, “he said.
