In addition, the local federation must pay a fine of 100,000 euros. According to the DPA, the sentence in the third duo was suspended.
Hungarian fans made themselves visible in the Ferenc Puskás arena in Budapest with homophobic banners or racist speeches in duels against Portugal and France, but also in the final performance in Munich against Germany.
Hungary finished at the European Championships in the F-group in the fourth city with two points for draws with France (1: 1) and Germany (2: 2).
