JOMBANG UPDATE – Smartphone users Xiaomi series Mi will soon say goodbye to products under the trade name “Mi”.

Xiaomi is one of the well-known brands from China which is reportedly starting this year no longer using the name ‘Mi’ in their products.
From the third quarter of 2021, all ‘Mi’ products will be renamed ‘Xiaomi‘. The change is disclosed Xiaomi to XDA Developers on Wednesday August 25, 2021.

With this change, it is hoped that Xiomi will unify the presence of a global brand. As well as eliminate the notion that creates a barrier between brands and products.
That way, everyone series which are under the Xiomi parent will be named Xiomi and Redmi.
This change, becomes big news especially for users Xiaomi. Because, Xiaomi cannot be said to be a brand with a small scale of use.
