Currently Xiaomi has three cellphones that use the Snapdragon 865 flagship system on a chip (SoC) in Indonesia. What’s the difference between each of these cellphones.
The three phones in question are the Mi 10, Poco F2 Pro, and the recently released Mi 10T. All three cellphones are included in the flagship cellphone category, as Mi Fans used to ask for it before Xiaomi only include entry level and middle class cell phones in Indonesia.
“We have fulfilled our promise to present flagship mobile phones in Indonesia. Three phones with Snapdragon 865 in a year,” said Alvin Tse, Country Director. Xiaomi Indonesia in a press conference before the launch of Mi 10T, Tuesday (8/12/2020).
Alvin then revealed the differences between the three flagship cellphones, which turned out to be intended for different users.
According to him, Mi 10 is the top flagship cellphone, with the most luxurious design, the most sophisticated, and the most feels as a premium cellphone. This is different from the Poco F2 Pro, which according to him is aimed at users who are young at heart.
“Like hardcore gamers, the younger generation has a different culture. The focus is on performance and users who are young at heart,” concluded Alvin.
Nah, Mi 10T also have a different focus. According to Alvin, Mi 10T focuses on premium entertainment, aka entertainment. An example is for playing games, because it has a higher refresh rate than Mi 10, 90Hz versus 144Hz.
Likewise with the camera capabilities, where the Mi 10T Pro uses a 108 megapixel sensor made by Samsung, and is equipped with OiS to increase its video recording capabilities.
