Today’s show begins with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. Reigns says he wasn’t happy last week that Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso will be fighting for the Tag titles. He had a week to think about it and he changed his mind. But if Jimmy says he’s going to win, he’d better win too. Reigns doesn’t want to waste any more time as he has a lot to do. He calls out his cousins, whereupon The Usos make their way into the hall. Jey confirms that Reigns is the “Tribal Chief and the WWE Universal Champion wants to hear this from Jimmy too. Jimmy explains that they will win the Smackdown Tag Team Championship today, after which Roman reiterates that he should better turn his words into actions. He reminds Jimmy that the whole family is watching.

Tag Team Match
Rey Mysterio & Dominik Mysterio (c) won against The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) via pin to Jimmy Uso by Dominik Mysterio after a failed top rope splash.
Match time: 14:25
The Usos then complained to the referee that Jimmy’s shoulder was not on the mat when the pin fell, which is confirmed by the commentators. However, the official does not reverse his decision.
Backstage, Jimmy Uso tries to explain the defeat, but Roman Reigns doesn’t want to hear about it. Jimmy picked his own chance and lost to a child. Reigns claims to have made up for that mistake today. The Usos are six-time Tag Team Champions but only made it onto WrestleMania’s card once, while Jey was left with Roman Reigns on the winners’ side in less than a year. Reigns looks at Jey and asks if Jimmy understands him now. When Jey points out the mistake, the WWE Universal Champion asks whether this really plays a role at the moment.
We see again Seth Rollins’ attack on Cesaro two weeks ago. Seth Rollins is then interviewed by Kayla Braxton. He says he doesn’t owe the fans anything. Kayla wants to know what will happen when Cesaro returns, whereupon Rollins picks up his microphone and breaks off the interview with a laugh.
Backstage, a conversation about Street Profits is interrupted by Chad Gable. He believes Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins need professional management and highlights what he has already done for Otis. The street profits can only laugh at the offer.
Backstage, the Usos complain to Adam Pearce & Sonya Deville about the end of the title match. The two officials promise to look into the situation. Jimmy wants an answer today.

Carmella won against Liv Morgan via submission in the Code of Silence.

A video for “Monday Night RAW” announces the signing of the contract for the WWE Championship between Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre at the “Hell in a Cell” PPV. Shayna Baszler will also be a guest at Alexa Bliss’ Playground.
Rey Mysterio & Dominik Mysterio are about to leave the hall when they are stopped by Adam Pearce & Sonya Deville. Pearce informs the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions that the Referee made a mistake and that the title match will be repeated tonight. The Mysterios agree without protest-
WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair comes in for a promo. She thought Bayley would have noticed by now that the fans were more laughing at her than at her. Bayley isn’t the first person to try to keep her down. She used to be called a show-off or manly because she is muscular and athletic. But Belair left all of these people behind as it brought in one success after another. She’s been through a lot, but no one has ever laughed in her face. That was disrespectful and she won’t accept it either. So she challenges Bayley to a match on “Hell in a Cell”. There she will be the one who laughs. Bayley now laughs and speaks over the big screen. She accepts the challenge and says she won’t be the only one laughing.
Otis faces the street profits backstage. He says Chad Gable was just trying to help them, but they made fun of him. He demands an apology, which Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins refuse. Rather, Montez Ford says that Gable is only holding Otis back. Then Otis attacks the street profits.

Singles Match
King Baron Corbin won against Shinsuke Nakamura (w / Rick Boogs) via pin.
Match time: 01:55
Baron Corbin wants to repeat his crown after the match, but this is prevented by Rick Boogs. Nakamura knocks out Corbin with a kick and puts Corbin’s crown back on.
Kevin Owens is attacked backstage by Commander Azeez. The Apollo Crews henchman prepares for the Nigerian Nail, but rushed officials intervene.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Singles Match
Apollo Crews (c) won against Kevin Owens via pin after a Death Valley driver on the apron.
Match time: 12:00
Commander Azeez comes out after the match to party with Apollo Crews before Sami Zayn storms out and Kevin Owens hits a Helluva kick. Zayn says that it wasn’t he who kicked Owens in the face, but the karma. Then he gives Owens another kick.
Backstage, the Street Profits make it clear that Otis should be better off minding his own business.
Commentators have announced the next week’s Street Profits vs. Otis & Chad Gable match.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship
Tag Team Match
Rey Mysterio & Dominik Mysterio (c) won against The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) via DQ after Roman Reigns intervened and knocked out Dominik Mysterio with a Superman punch when the Mysterio were on their way to victory.
Match time: 08:20
After the match, Roman Reigns takes the two Mysterios apart by himself and beats up the father-son duo. Jimmy Uso is not happy with Roman’s attack and wants to leave the ring with Jey, but his brother is held back by Reigns. At the end of the show, Reigns shows a power bomb against Dominik Mysterio.
