Today’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown does without a video package and we find ourselves right in the WWE Thunderdome, where the commentators greet us.

The Miz and John Morrison enter the ring to hold one of their “dirt sheet” segments. The Miz has so many topics to talk about, from Bayley’s turn against Sasha Banks, the true Intercontinental Champion, to the family duel between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. But the hottest topic is Mandy Rose’s switch from SmackDown to RAW. Otis should thank him for helping Otis by sending Mandy away. Now Otis can fully concentrate on honoring his Money In The Bank contract and becoming a champion. Rose has already found a consolation at RAW, according to the A-Lister. This calls Otis on the plan, who handles the “Dirt Sheet” hosts and then exposes The Miz down to the underpants. Ashamed, Miz & Morrison flee backstage before the advertisement goes on.

After the break, Kayla Braxton is backstage with John Morrison and The Miz, who tries to hide his white knickers behind a mountain of clothes in his hands. Kayla asks if The Miz regrets drawing Otis’ anger. He doesn’t answer and instead pulls out his cell phone. Miz asks his interlocutor, “Was that enough?”, Whereupon he tells Kayla that they have a plan.

Singles Match
Cesaro (w / Shinsuke Nakamura) won against Gran Metalik (w / Kalisto & Lince Dorado) via pin after the neutralizer.

Kayla Braxton interviews Jey Uso and shows some scenes from last week. Kayla wants to know how Roman’s actions will affect team chemistry. Jey says last week was just a misunderstanding and that he thinks Roman will have his back today. For Roman, Clash of Champions says “welcome to the Uso penitentiary”.

A promo with Matt Riddle is played. Riddle says a lot of people ask him why he says Bro so often. The secret is that a “Bro” suits every mood, which the “King of Bros” demonstrates in his “Bromo”.

Alexa Bliss welcomes us to a new “Moment of Bliss” and announces today’s guest, her best friend Nikki Cross. Bliss congratulates Nikki on her chance for the title against Bayley at Clash of Champions and wants to know Cross’s plan for the match, after all, Nikki hasn’t defeated Bayley since last year. Cross replies that there will be no Sasha Banks in Bayley’s corner at the PPV and that she will take the title from Bayley. Nikki wants to find out from Alexa Bliss why Bliss attacked her with Sister Abigail. Bliss tries to smile away at the situation and both are interrupted by Lacey Evans. The “Sassy Southern Bell” directs trash talk to Bliss and Cross, whereupon Nikki Cross grabs the scarf from Lacey Evans and, to the entertainment of Bliss, blows into it indignantly. A brawl breaks out between the two women before another commercial break follows.

Nikki Cross won against Lacey Evans via pin after the neutralizer.

– During the match, Evans took out a hand sanitiser dispenser and rubbed it on Cross’ s face.

After the match, Lacey Evans yells at Alexa Bliss. When Evans mentions “The Fiend”, Alexa gets up and misses her sister Abigail. Bliss walks out of the hall in tunnel vision.

Paul Heyman is holding a video promo about family wrestling dynasties. The Anoa’i family is one, if not the largest, of its kind. Roman’s success is not just his will, but his birthright. At the top of the Anoa’i dynasty is only one person, the “Tribal Chief” and undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.

Sasha Banks sits backstage with a ruff ready for an interview. Shown are some scenes from Bayley’s turn against Sasha when the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion knocked out Banks with a chair. Sasha still had trouble speaking and explained that Bayley was using her and now she was no longer worth anything to Bayley. Their dream was to take over the entire company together, but the dream has burst. Bayley is naive and nothing without Banks. Sasha announces that he will one day win Bayley’s Championship and is attacked by Bayley, who storms into the picture.

AJ Styles won against Sami Zayn via pin after a roller coaster.
Match time: 10:20

After the finish, Zayn complains to the referee. Jeff Hardy storms out and hurls Sami back and forth, around the ring and around the ring. Jeff attacks AJ Styles with a ladder and shows the twist of fate against Sami Zayn. At Clash of Champions, he’ll take on both of them in a three way ladder match for the title.

Heavy Machinery talk backstage. Otis receives an envelope that Tucker found was a lawsuit. Otis looked pretty irritated by this. The lawsuit was of course brought by The Miz and John Morrison, they criticize several points, including public exposure and claim the Money In The Bank suitcase as compensation.

Baron Corbin and Cesaro discuss the upcoming Samoan Street Fight. The official who helped Sheamus trap Big E a few weeks ago walks by and informs Sheamus that something is wrong with his car. Big E attacks the heels and they run away. Big E now turns to the official to return the favor. Big E throws it on the windshield of a car and then locks it in the trunk of the car.

As before, in a video segment a mysterious woman is shown getting dressed, shortly before she turns into the camera and her face can be seen, the clip ends.

For the upcoming RAW edition, the pairing Keith Lee against Drew McIntyre and Dominik Mysterio are announced at RAW Underground.

4. Match
Samoan Street Fight Tag Team Match
Roman Reigns & Jey Uso won against Sheamus & King Corbin via pin to Corbin by Jey Uso after the Uso Splash.
Match time: 06:20

After the match, Jey grabs the WWE Universal title belt, which Roman doesn’t like at all. Uso tosses the belt to Reigns and they hug. Jey Uso walks out of the ring celebrating while Roman Reign’s expression quickly changes from laughing to deadly serious. Paul Heyman and Reigns look at each other and nod before Reigns turns his gaze back to Uso. With these pictures the show goes off-air.
