WTT – Johnson and Brady tombent Chicago, Orlando near playoffs #WorldTeamTennis #WTT #Johnson #Brady #Pegula

After the qualifications of Chicago Smash and Philadelphia Freedoms Sunday, it’s the Orlando Storm who moved closer to qualifying on Monday. Thanks to a Jessica Pegula once again very inspired, the Storms won 19-15 against the San Diego Aviators. The American notably won the mixed doubles with Ken Skupski before dominating very easily Sabine Lisicki 5-0. Although it is not official, the Orlando Storm will be part of the 4 teams present in the play-offs.

Le Mag – “Roland-Garros … Roll on September!”

There is therefore a place for the play-offs. For now, the New-York Empire are in a strong position. But beware, the Orange County Breakers relaunched on Monday. Thanks to a very good Steve Johnson, the Breakers find themselves in 5th position with only a small victory for the Empire. The American notably brought 2 points to his team by winning the mixed doubles and the men’s singles. A great 23-16 victory against the Chicago Smash d’Eugenie Bouchard. Finally, Catherine McNally preserved the chances of qualifying Sprinfield Lasers. Winner of the women’s singles, mixed doubles and women’s doubles, the American allowed the Lasers to win 24-19 against the Vegas Rollers.
