Stella Martin (Adele Neuhauser) is cult in the beauty industry, the products of her “wrinkle-free” line are in great demand. But in view of her long-term success, Stella mutated into a cynical, criticism-resistant alpha woman who ruthlessly rules her empire and has banished her family to a sideline. But now Stella’s zenith seems to have passed. Her newest products are causing a capital loss, and age has gradually left its mark on her too. But the worst: husband Georg (Thomas Limpinsel) is said to have a relationship with a much younger one. Shocked, Stella crosses the street, collides with a cyclist and suffers a concussion. The only way out of her dilemma: cosmetic surgery with complete restoration. But since Stella does not mention that she is still on painkillers, the anesthesia does not work and Stella also falls from the operating table. A fall that turns her life upside down: Suddenly she can hear what other people think of her. And that’s far from flattering. Stella is outraged, but also horrified. And she begins to do something she has long forgotten: listening to other people, developing empathy, apologizing. Even with her daughters Fiona (Henriette Richter-Röhl) and Johanna (Olga von Luckwald) – to everyone’s greatest surprise.
