An impressive accident happened today in Riga, Čiekurkalns, where due to a collision of two cars, one of the vehicles ended up on the roof, but the drivers got through a healthy one, reports the program “Degpunkta”.
At noon on Thursday, September 10, a rather impressive accident occurred at the intersection of the second line and the second cross line of Čiekurkalns, after which one of the cars in the tradition of the best German tension series “flew” through the air, but eyewitnesses had to call 112 to see the consequences of the accident.
At the scene of a thoroughly inspected “Nissan” show, “Degpunkta” meets its helmsman, a lady and a gray man who was sitting in the passenger’s seat at the time of the accident. Fortunately, eyewitnesses, seeing the Lord’s truly respectable age, brought a chair so he could sit down.
The driver of the Nissan points to the fault of the other driver, saying that he will “not drive” at full speed.
A little further, next to the very easily inspected “Volvo”, we also address its helmsman – a man who is clearly aware that he will have to take the blame for what happened.
“It was a mistake not to stop at the STOP sign. I braked, drove outside. I don’t know why I didn’t notice that car, but now, “explains Eugene, the head of Volvo.
When asked if he had braked, the Volvo driver was laconic. “Well, I had a speed of maybe five kilometers an hour. I hit her right on the wheel, and as it happened, the car immediately overturned, ”he says, adding that the main thing is that everyone is alive and well.
“When that car started crashing, I don’t know, I’m afraid it would end much worse,” he admits.
Due to the accident, the traffic on this second line of Čiekurkalns was completely blocked for more than an hour, but as soon as the carriageway was released, the traffic was restored and the work was left to the police officers who recorded the consequences of the accident and later prosecuted.
